Mgr. Anna Fučíková Ph.D.


Anna Fucikova is a Czech scientist specializing in nanotechnology and its applications in biology. Currently she works at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and at University of Chemistry and Technology. She dedicates some of her spare time to science popularization and education support. Despite struggling with dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysorthography, she has achieved some important accomplishments in Czech science and received the 2012 Česká hlava Award and the 2015 Neuron Impulse Award. She considers herself a brainy kid and supports this project so that more children can follow their dreams and develop their talents.
